Goldberg Segalla Again Ranked a Top Firm by Chambers and Partners June 23, 2016
For the second consecutive year, Goldberg Segalla’s Business and Commercial Practice Group in upstate New York has been recognized by Chambers and Partners as one of the top in the region. Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business notes that the firm is known for its “large commercial litigation team with experience across a breadth of contentious business matters” and that it is “well placed to represent clients from numerous industries, including financial services and insurance companies, retailers and media groups.”
Chambers, which is widely recognized as one of the industry’s preeminent legal guides, lists Goldberg Segalla among some of the upstate New York region’s oldest and largest firms and is one of just 11 to make the cut. It lists Business and Commercial Practice Group Chair Christopher J. Belter as a recognized practitioner and partners Joseph M. Hanna and Daniel B. Moar as notable practitioners, highlighting their ability to make sound judgments on behalf of clients and their aggressive pursuit of client goals.
Firm clients told Chambers researchers that Goldberg Segalla is “filled with practical lawyers who can give advice on the spot about a variety of issues” and that its “strengths are client service and legal acumen, particularly in litigation.” Chambers relies on client interviews, bodies of work, and the effectiveness and capabilities of the applicable department in order to compile its rankings.
