Lila M. McKinley
Lila M. McKinley is an associate in the firm's Hartford, Connecticut office. She concentrates her practice in the areas of professional and product liability. Ms. McKinley is a phi beta kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Political Science and Sociology from the University of Connecticut. She received her Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2008. During law school, she served as the Notes and Comments Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law and participated in the law school's asylum and human rights clinic where she was awarded the Honorable M. Joseph Blumenfeld Prize for Outstanding Service as an Advocate on Behalf of Clients in the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic. Additionally, while in law school, Ms. McKinley earned the Cali Award for Excellence in Criminal Procedure and served as an intern to U.S. District Court Chief Magistrate Judge Kenneth Neiman for the District of Massachusetts.
Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Ms. McKinley was a judicial law clerk to the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court in the Middletown and New Britain Judicial Districts. Ms. McKinley is also a mentor in the Career Beginnings program.
