Daisy Hu focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She has handled national and international commercial transactions and litigation, as well as mergers and acquisitions, and has represented banking and financial institutions in a variety of matters.
Daisy has vast international legal experience. As an associate with a law firm in Shanghai, Daisy was involved in the equity acquisition between a major bank and a Global 500 corporation. While working as a compliance associate with a brokerage firm in Shanghai, she was responsible for providing legal solutions to industry analytics queries.
Daisy’s experience also includes working for a major Chinese bankcard organization in its New York branch, interning at a law firm in Boston, and serving as a clerk with the Boston Municipal Court. Through these roles, she gained exposure and insights on global compliance issues, as well as the Federal Arbitration Act and international arbitration.
While receiving her juris doctor at Suffolk University Law School, Daisy designed a U.S. business visa assessment toolkit with document automation software. She contributed to the Internally Displaced Persons Database for the Brookings Institution while receiving her Master of Laws degree at Vanderbilt University Law School.
