Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Christina M. Brescia and Laura Ashley Martin to White Plains Office September 19, 2011
Christina’s experience includes defending medical, podiatric, dental and legal malpractice cases and handling a wide range of premises liability, automobile liability and other insurance litigation matters. She has also worked with companies to evaluate commercial lease agreements and maintenance and service contracts to determine enforceability of indemnity rights and viability of breach-of-contract claims.
Before entering private practice, Christina was an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. She received her B.A., cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany, and her J.D., cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University.
Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, Laura Ashley served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. Her duties included managing a docket of over 200 cases from inception through discovery, dispositive motions and trial, as well as conducting legal research and preparing judicial opinions on numerous complex civil legal issues.
Laura Ashley received her J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University–The Dickinson School of Law, where she was on the Penn State International Law Review editorial board, and her B.A. from Union College.
