Join Dove Burns and Caroline Berdzik at the ACI Employment Practices Liability Insurance Conference January 16, 2015
There is still time to register for the American Conference Institute’s 22nd National Conference on Employment Practices Liability Insurance. Don’t miss this chance to partake in the nation’s leading EPLI forum as it returns to New York City — and to ensure you are prepared to manage and defend against the increasing number of EPLI claims being filed.
Dove A. E. Burns and Caroline J. Berdzik, partners in Goldberg Segalla’s Employment Litigation and EPL Practice Group, will be speakers at this year’s conference, which features programming that has been revamped and updated to include enhanced industry perspectives and account for new developments, strategies, and industry trends.
The conference is designed to help claims professionals, underwriters, risk managers, in-house counsel, and outside counsel understand the ever-changing EPLI market with new coverage options, ways to reduce costs of defending against and settling EPLI claims, and how to minimize exposure to risk.
Dove will be a panelist for “New Legislative Rules and Proposals, Enhanced Collaboration Between Federal Agencies, and an In-Depth Review of Recent Case Law” on January 27. This session will highlight recent activity regarding coverage of underlying workplace class actions and EPL, EEOC pattern and practice claims, court review of EEOC conciliation efforts, and more.
Caroline will be a panelist for “The Bermuda Triangle of the ADA, FMLA, and Workers Compensation in the EPLI Realm,” also on January 27, which will address coverage complexities, “hot button” accommodation issues, and solutions for minimizing exposure to disability discrimination/FMLA claims.
