Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce that Matthew T. Austin has joined the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group in Rochester, NY. Matt focuses his practice on the defense of insurance companies, employers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators on issues governed by New York State’s Workers’ Compensation Law and the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. He also has experience in employment law, family law and criminal matters.

Matt served as a clerk with the New York Farm Bureau, as a law intern with the Albany Law School Law Clinic and Justice Center, and as a Legal Aide with the Office of the Attorney General in Albany while earning his J.D. from Albany Law School. He has written on legal issues for The Daily Record in Rochester for several years.
