Experience
Samantha Graff dedicates her practice to representing clients in workers’ compensation claims, counseling and defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Sam handles every stage of the claims process from inception through resolution, including managing discovery, developing case assessments, drafting and arguing motions, conducting hearings, and negotiating settlements. She draws on experience gained in private practice handling family and criminal law matters. Before joining private practice, Sam served as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, providing holistic criminal representation to clients facing both misdemeanor and felony charges.
While attending CUNY School of Law, Sam gained experience serving as a student attorney in the Criminal Defenders Clinic where she successfully petitioned the New York Office of the Governor for clemency on behalf of an individual originally facing a sentence of fifty years-to-life. She was also an active member of the CUNY Law Moot Court Team and served as a staff editor for the CUNY Law Review.
