Experience
Nicholas J. Salatino Jr. applies his extensive courtroom experience when defending premises liability, personal injury, product and general liability matters on behalf of retailers, hotels and resorts, restaurants and other businesses in the retail and hospitality industries.
Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, Nicholas served as assistant state attorney in Florida’s State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial District in Jacksonville, Florida, where he handled the criminal prosecution for misdemeanors and felonies. He investigated, evaluated, and prepared cases for trial, deposed witnesses and victims, conducted jury trials, managed sentencing hearings, and negotiated appropriate case resolutions. Nicholas previously served as assistant district attorney in New York City’s Bronx County District Attorney’s Office where he regularly appeared in Bronx County Criminal Court.
While attending the Roger Williams University School of Law, Nicholas gained courtroom experience through several internships, including the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. He also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi at the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
