Goldberg Segalla added Russell S. Massey to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality and Employment and Labor practice groups in Philadelphia.

Russell is an accomplished trial attorney with more than two decades of experience handling a wide range of complex litigation. He focuses his practice on the unique legal needs of businesses in the retail and hospitality industries, providing counsel and representation for premises liability, employment matters, personal injury, dram shop, product liability claims.

Russell regularly handles the lead counsel role defending businesses in high-stakes litigation. He served as national coordinating counsel in multi-jurisdictional product liability litigation involving claims of hearing loss alleged by firefighters. In addition, Russell has defended corporations in employment claims before administrative agencies, state and federal courts. He also advises businesses on employment-related issues, including anti-discrimination policies, severance agreements, and employee handbooks.

Russell earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland and his J.D. from the Temple University School of Law.
