Experience
John W. Burke concentrates his practice on representing a range of commercial clients in complex litigation, business disputes, and commercial transactions. Jack draws on experience handling general liability defense and toxic tort matters from intake through appeal. He conducts and defends depositions, participates in arbitrations and settlement conferences, and appears in municipal court, trial court and appellate court hearings and oral arguments.
While attending the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, Jack participated in Temple’s top-ranked Integrated Trial Advocacy and Advanced Trial Advocacy Programs. As a member of the Sports Arbitration and Negotiation team, he competed in Tulane University School of Law’s International Baseball Arbitration Competition and won the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law’s Inaugural Baseball Filing Day Competition. Jack also gained experience as an intern for the Hon. Margaret Bisignani Moyle of the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas and for the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Administrative Law Judges.
